About the role

As an Operations Technician/Property Technician, you will be responsible for the daily operations, supervision, and maintenance of properties and technical systems. You ensure that the facilities operate reliably, energy-efficiently, and safely, contributing to a well-maintained environment for both tenants and customers.

You work independently but in close collaboration with colleagues and set high standards for quality, service, and order. At Evelko, you have access to your own ventilation technicians, electricians, plumbing technicians, and control technicians, which provides good conditions for efficiently solving assignments.

For larger measures, you may have a coordination responsibility, where you lead and distribute work among different technical areas. Therefore, we prefer that you are comfortable in a coordinating role.

Our office is located in Uppsala, but our assignments extend across all of Uppland.

Responsibilities

• Daily operations, supervision, and maintenance of properties

• Systematic fire protection work

• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of technical systems such as: Ventilation, Heating, Cooling, Electricity, and Control systems

• Execution of preventive and corrective maintenance

• Energy monitoring and work on energy efficiency

• Contact with tenants, customers, suppliers, and contractors

• Participation in rounds, inspections, and authority controls

• Documentation of completed work in operation and maintenance systems

• Has a technical education in property management, operations, HVAC, electrical, or equivalent

• Has experience in property operations or technical maintenance (meritorious)

• Has a B driver's license

• Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Experience with superior control systems, such as Bastec, Web Port, Abelko, or similar

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Facility Manager, SBA, Hot Work, etc.) are meritorious

• Good computer skills and experience with the Office suite.

A background check may be required as we are SUA-classified in several projects.
